Description The design story of the Seaside Quad began with the Go Fish in around 2016. I rode the Go Fish with keel fins. I’ve always loved keel fins. And at the time, I had never loved quads. I had never even really ridden quads before 2018. Sometime in early 2018, I began synthesizing the Go Fish board model into what would become the Seaside board model, and I had a moment where I recognized…
The first set of keels I rode were on a Skip Frye fish around the time we were filming Seedling – they were hand foiled Larry Gephart fins that I think were referred to as ‘straight backs’. Basically, they looked like plywood that someone cut out and foiled; they were beautiful. And that’s what originally sparked my imagination as far as fishes and keels go. I got into experimenting with variety of fish shapes shortly…
The ‘Twin + 2’ is Kelly Slater’s latest addition to his ENDORFINS fin line – a Twin Fin set packaged with two separate trailing options for the thruster box. From Kelly: “I started surfing on twin fins and obviously as surfing transitioned in the early 80’s to thrusters, I went along with it. Over the years I have dabbled in twin fins, but only recently have I spent much time really refining board and fin designs for…
Bridging the gap between a twin and a thruster, this versatile set is adaptable across multiple board models and surf conditions. Overview It’s best to think of the Performer Twin as 2/3 Twin and 1/3 Thruster. The side fins are at the lower end of the S-M size category and have a neutral sweep angle (Performer Family) and a streamlined outline from base to tip. The stabiliser, which has a higher sweep angle (Carver Family),…
The Dominator has been a staple in my quiver, and the Firewire line, since its inception in 2008. The DM II is meant to be a clean update of the original with design features that allow it to work well in a wider range of conditions and enhance its performance.

Glazer Ability: Beginner – Expert Bottom Contours: Single/Double Rails: Medium I like to think of the guy at VG’s Donuts that glazes the donuts. Pretty important dude. Kinda makes or breaks a donut. He’s the GLAZER. And then you have my number one test pilot – TODD GLASER. He’s been riding this board for close to a decade. We’ve been modifying and tweaking it for years. A little bit of width here… a touch of thickness there……
The Firewire IBOLIC Revo is a leap forward in surfboard manufacturing with an interplay of our favorite elements of LFT and Helium combined, elevated, and enhanced to put The Future Under Your Feet.
The Greedy Beaver has a real shortboard feel with a compressed longboard outline, a true crossover board with midlength retro glide and shortboard maneuverability. Put it on rail while engaging the single to double concave, step on the rounded pin and it surfs like a shortboard in the pocket. Or take advantage of the single to double concave and large planing surface to trim effortlessly over dead sections. The beveled rail reduces the overall…
Mid 6 Taking mid-length performance to the limit, the Mid 6 is designed to work in all types of wave quality. The narrowed round pintail, curved outline without straight lines, and smooth rocker with a slight nose flip fit the face perfectly even in deep positions. The thruster and quad fin setup work synergistically with the shallow 6-channel bottom for excellent control performance even in dug waves. The rail shape is set slightly up in the…
The Holy Hypto AKA the Cohort_V is a combination of the Hypto Krypto and Holy Grail models, thus the Holy Hypto was created. Having more entry rocker, longer rail line with a performance nose, this shape will surf like your everyday driver with the speed and flow of the Hypto. The wide point is forward of center allowing a lot of hidden foam to be under the front foot giving the surfer a larger sweet spot while surfing and…
Model Overview The Hypto Krypto is a balance of tradition and modern performance. Suited to the elite level surfer to the everyday surfer, it is often referred to as the ‘one board quiver’ for its versatility across all types of surf conditions – from small 1-3 ft beach breaks, to barrels of up to 8ft. SKILL LEVEL – All Levels The Hypto Krypto is suitable for all skill levels. For those who are experienced, surf…
An instant classic, the Big Baron is inspired by the mid lengths that generations before us rode on the infamous Gold Coast points. This is paired with a more modern bottom contour and twin fin placement, then complemented by a neatly pulled in round tail for extra hold. Because on this board, you’ll be burning speed and burying rail. A lot of it. An overall flat rocker generates and holds momentum in even the weakest…

El Barón’s development is similar to the Black Baron 2.1’s updates from its predecessor, with El Barón taking the Big Baron’s momentum and fine tuning a few overwhelmingly popular requests to create a new performance mid length. Our head honcho of the barons – the El Barón features a stretched out Big Baron outline that’s ridden narrower, with slightly more rocker and modern concaves to handle more speed and versatility. It’s a subtle single to…

JS INDUSTRIES PE XERO OUR NEW GOLD STANDARD ALL-ROUNDER. We experiment with designs constantly, but JS only commits to a new board model when there’s an obvious quantum leap in performance. That’s the Xero. Our new gold standard of all-rounders, the Xero came together by fusing elements of the most popular current models together, just like the Monsta Box. JS focussed on the strengths of our three clear global favourites over the past decade, and…
MISSION: DESTROY MONSTA BOX Xero Gravity is the next in line of our favourite fusions ever. Ridden the same dimensions as your Monsta Box, with the same magic rocker, this will be your all-rounder even more geared to high performance surfing than the updated Xero, which in comparison has the slightly flatter Blak Box rocker and a fuller outline. Xero Gravity also features a similar foil to the previous Xero, with foam hidden in the…
You want to go fast? We_ve got the Funformance design that will give you another reason to get into the water all summer long. The Astro Pop is designed to give you some extra spark and easy paddle in weaker, slower waves, while still keeping a performance edge and super fun to ride in good surf. Pyzel Mini Ghost Round Tail The Mini Ghost came to be as a result of working with Koa Smith to build a rippable short, chunky, fun version of one of his favorites, the Ghost. Koa loves riding tiny boards for the smaller days on the North Shore, but we needed to pack more volume into them to make them functional and give them paddle power and stability. We shrunk Koa’s 5’9 Ghost down to…
Silky smooth, even in junk waves, and possibly our fastest board yet, The Red Tiger is John John Florence’s new High Performance Shortboard unlike anything we have released in the past. It is the ultimate performance machine for small/medium sized, slower, weaker waves based on John’s simple guidance – make it Fast and Fun. The idea for this board was hatched when John began riding some different – fun boards -during some breaks from…
